Beer Soup
A Hoesterey family dish sometimes called “Taco Soup” if you don’t want to acknowledge the alcohol. Consider doubling the recipe for more leftovers.

Ingredients
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 15oz can green beans
- 1 15oz can corn
- 1 15oz can pinto beans
- 1 15oz can kidney beans
- 1 15oz can stewed tomatoes
- 1 10oz can medium spice tomatoes and green chilies (e.g. Rotel brand)
- 1 package or 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1 1oz package or 2 tablespoons Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing (preferably buttermilk)
- 1 can beer
- Fritos or tortilla chips
- shredded cheese
- sour cream
Directions
- Brown chopped onion: 1 and ground beef: 2 lbs together and drain.
- Add green beans: 1 15oz can, corn: 1 15oz can, pinto beans: 1 15oz can, kidney beans: 1 15oz can, stewed tomatoes: 1 15oz can, and medium spice tomatoes and green chilies (e.g. Rotel brand): 1 10oz can all with the liquids.
- Add taco seasoning: 1 package or 3 tablespoons and Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing (preferably buttermilk): 1 1oz package or 2 tablespoons, and beer: 1 can
- Simmer for about 3 hours
- Serve with Fritos or tortilla chips, shredded cheese, and/or sour cream.
