Why are Twitter Verifications even a thing? Do we need another way to designate arbitrary coolness and incite imposter syndrome?
Twitter should just verify that you actually control the domain for the URL in your profile. Personality reasonably verified. The end.
@BenLesh You can do this on @MastodonProject however I’m not so sure how valuable of a feature that is. People only know a few urls. It’d be easy to spoof.
